Our Luxury Spanish Apartment in Cala D'or is situated in the Cala Egos region of Cala D’or, one of the most picturesque resorts on the south east coast of Majorca. Palma airport is approx 60km away and the journey takes 45mins.

This Luxury Spanish Apartment in Cala Dor is within the Bella Luna residential complex which consists of a small community of 64 houses, apartments and penthouses all offering excellent views over the east coast mountains and the sea. It is located in a quiet and peaceful area but still within an easy stroll of the bars and restaurants of Cala Egos.

The apartment has been fully furnished to the highest standards. It has good sized rooms with patio doors opening out from the lounge onto the large patio area with views of the landscaped gardens.

There is a fully fitted modern kitchen with breakfast bar. Rooms are fully air-conditioned (remote control in each room) with heating, humidity and cooling facility.

There are 2 marble bathrooms. Bathroom one has a full size bath with two wash basins and is en-suite to the main bedroom. Bathroom two has a walk-in shower facility.

The apartment will be available from 2.00 pm . The apartment must be vacated at 10.00 am on the day of departure. Mid-week maybe available out of season.
Crossover Day:
Fixed - Ideally, we would like to operate on a Saturday to Saturday basis, especially in peak season. However, if special requests are made we will endeavour to accommodate 10/11 nights, long weekends or long stays.

Once availability has been agreed, we will take provisional bookings and hold your required dates whilst you secure your flights. Once this is done we will require an initial non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total amount, with the balance due 12 weeks prior to departure.

Reservations made within eight weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking. Payment is to be sent in the form of a cheque or we can accept Paypal. (an additional payment of 3.4% must be added if Paypal is used)

In addition to the rental amount, a key/security deposit of £250 is required and should accompany the final payment as a separate cheque. This security deposit is required to cover the cost of breakages, loss or damage to furnishings, bedding or keys etc. The security deposit will be returned / destroyed within 14 days of your return and you will not be charged for what is considered minor wear and tear.

Please note that insurance is the responsibility of rental clients, as is your personal safety by poolside etc.

Beaches, Coast & Lakes: You are only a 2 minute walk away from one of the seven lovely beaches in a quiet and peaceful area on the edge of the resort but still within easy walking distance of all amenities.
Travel: Flight time to Palma from the UK is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes and there are a variety of airlines offering flights from all over the country. For cheap flights to Palma Spain, it is advisable to book early with these airlines.

It will take approximately 45 minutes to travel from Palma airport to the apartment in Cala Egos and the two main options are to hire a car (which can be picked up and dropped off at the airport or the resort itself) or to get a taxi.

Taxi transfer is located immediately outside the arrival hall at Palma Airport. The cost is approx 55 Euros (£40.00)

Bars and Restaurants

Cala D’or and Cala Egos are very much family resorts, however they can be as busy or as relaxing as the mood takes you.

* Lots of fantastic bars and restaurants to suit all tastes in Cala Egos, (200 yards from the apartment) Try Sparkles, KO Bar, Beatriz and the Irish Bistro
* Too many bars, restaurants and boutiques to mention within Cala D’or. 3 minutes by taxi
* The world famous Marina at Cala D’or offers many quality restaurants and bars overlooking the yachts that are moored there (only 10 minutes from apartment)

Shopping

All the shops within Cala Egos are within walking distance of the apartment

Three supermarkets within 300 yards of apartment

The City of Palma is only 45 mins away by car where you can shop till you drop. Shopping in the city centre is Palma's answer to Regent Street in London, with the coolest shops on the island. There are plenty of designer shops but remember that this is Spain, and the shops close between 1.30pm and 4pm for siesta time.

Regular markets are held throughout the island. Most tend to start quite early in the morning (around 8am) and finish just after 1pm. Some of the larger ones are Alcudia-Tuesdays and Sundays, Andratx- Wednesday, Felanitx- Sunday and Inca each Thursday.

Waterparks

The biggest waterpark on the island is Aquacity (30 minutes from apartment) on the outskirts of the resort of El Arenal.

Aqualand and the Western Park are both in Magaluf. (one hour from apartment)

Places to visit

Porto Petro

Only five minutes drive from Cala D'or is this very quite, picturesque harbour and fishing village. You can watch local fishermen arrive with their catches early morning, and buy fresh fish direct from the boat. Porto Petro has some fine waterfront restaurants and bars, ideal for relaxed lunches overlooking the harbour. Diving facilities available.

Caves of Drach

The Caves du Drach are situated close to the marina town of Porto Cristo. These beautiful, natural, limestone caves feature spectacular stalagmites and stalactites and further inside is an auditorium by an underground lake where you are able to enjoy a light show to classical music to highlight the magnificence of the cave formations.

Leisure/Special Interest Facilities 
Golf:Our apartment at Cala Egos forms a great base for a golfing holiday or short break.

Majorca is a paradise for golfers and there are many golf courses all in relaxing Mediterranean settings and in a fantastic climate. There are 2,400 hours of sunshine a year in Majorca which makes it an all year round destination for golfers.

Vall D’or golf club is the closest course to Cala Egos only 10 minutes drive in a car or taxi and is also one of the most welcoming in Majorca. The front nine enjoy rolling fairways surrounded by pine, olive and almond trees. The greens are quite small and well protected by bunkers. The back nine supports more uneven fairways that trail back towards the coast. There are some fantastic views of the Mediterranean.

Golf club & buggy hire are available – All within 10 minutes drive from Cala Egos.
