We were looking for our next holiday spot, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised at some prices available for villas and apartments in Spain for rental. We actually found a number of websites that specialised in offering private owners' properties. We were looking for Tenerife and we found several owners who were renting their own villas out. We short-listed two in particular that we felt would be really pleasant and would allow us to experience the Spanish lifestyle.
After an exhaustive search through available rentals in Spain, we decided on a place called Gay Villa Spain. We knew this villa was the place for us after reading up on it and doing our research. The pictures looked wonderful, the space ideal for us and the reviews of those people that had already stayed there painted a fantastic picture.
Once we had the place picked out it was time to search for the cheapest Spain flight. As we were going during an off-peak time for tourism, we got a really great deal. We packed up and proceeded to the airport, very excited. Not only had it been many years since we had gotten away on a vacation, but the two of us had never travelled outside the country together. Our travelling went smoothly. Security was a breeze to get through and our flight was pleasant and felt shorter than we had expected.
When we got to Spain, we were not disappointed! The villa we rented was truly a Gay Villa Spain with breathtaking views. Everything we needed was provided including a kitchen stacked with pots and pans but in all honesty we never used them as eating out was so cheap! It helped that we spent more time around the pool and beach, especially with the fabulous chiringuitos to hand. They satisfied any hunger. It was a great experience and we can't recommend enough booking direct through the owners. We actually put in our search engine villas and apartments in Spain for rental and bingo a number of websites advertising owners' properties appeared.
