Parque Acuatico Mijas – Fuengirola is purported
to be one of the best water fun-parks around, located
on the outskirts of Fuengirola and has a wave pool,
kamikaze slide, water chutes, Adventure River with winding
raft slides and a mini aqua park for the kids. The park
also has a full entertainment program including shows
for children, water aerobics regional dances and beach
volleyball competitions. They even have a recreation
room which serves as an Internet café.
There is a bus service from the centre of Fuengirola
which can take you direct to Parque Acuatico Mijas.

well run with late evening with special lighted opening
hours. In July and August 2009 the Fuengirola Zoo are
carrying out environment and conservation awareness
workshops for tourists and locals alike. These sessions
will take place on the beaches of Fuengirola Coastline
from 11:00 till 3:00 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
and Sundays within those two months. This is a wonderful
opportunity for the children as the games and other
sessions will be a good starting point prior to visiting
